Mega fanboy of Nintendo consoles, probably my favourite is the Nintendo Gamecube. Such an elegant design.

I actually bought a Gamecube with my pocket money at the time. All of it haha. Was totally worth it though.

I sold the dam thing many years later to cash converters when I was a broke Teen sadly. Boohoo.

I never played the cube, had already transitioned to Playstation by then. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Were there any big exclusives on it? I mean, coming after N64 is a mighty big boot to fill.

There were a lot of good 1st party exclusive as there usually on Nintendo consoles, but not a lot of good 3rd party exclusives. I think part in part because Nintendo decided to use a mini disk format for the Nintendo Gamecube.

Way to go dude 😛 now I'm revisiting the days when I sat in the living room, waiting impatiently for Christmas to come so I could unwrap the present I knew was already hiding in the closet!  I went to a Wal-Mart and waited overnight to pick the thing up on the first night.  Ahhhh.. Super Monkey Ball hahaha.

Best games in my opinion - Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, Zelda Wind Waker (I know these are obvious so far.. but the Wii U had less than this already), Smash Bros., Paper Mario 2, Pikmin 2, Animal Crossing, Star Wars Rogue Leader, Soul Calibur 2..

Not to mention this console is how I first experienced Resident Evil 4.  Hot damn.  Jeff I'm sure you tore that one apart on PS2 when it released.

That's one series I could never get into was Animal Crossing. I understand why people like it, just not my cup of tea.

I am with you Shadow. I know people that have played it and even some people I admire. But just looking at it, it doesn't seem like my cup of tea. I guess it goes back to judging a book by its cover.
